GNCC COSANCTION RACE FEES: (Normal MSXC fees at regular
events)
They accept cash, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
Note, all credit card transactions are subject to a $2.00 processing fee)
and check (backed up by a credit card) as payment for race fees. The race
fee is in addition to the Weekend Pass, or gate admission fee. All riders
must purchase a Weekend Pass. Weekend passes are $15.00 for ages 7 and over,
6 and under are free.
Amateur entry fee: $40.00
Youth entry fee: $25.00
NOTE: Loretta Lynn’s Ranch is a campground and additional
fees will apply for overnight camping.
AMA: As normal for the MSXC, all bike and ATV racers will
be required to be members of either the AMA or the ATVA. Memberships are
$39 and are good for one year. If you need a membership
or need to renew yours, we can take care of that for you at Rider Registration
at each event.
Transponders: GNCC cosanction ONLY: All riders are required
to have a transponder in order to compete. Transponders can be purchased
or rented at the GNCC event. The cost to purchase a transponder is $65.
The unit is good for the 2010 and 2011 race seasons. Units can be rented
per event for a $10 rental fee (with a $55 refundable deposit).
Credit and debit cards can be used for the deposit.
For best results, mount the unit on riders chest protector, the fork tubes,
or the cross bar of the machine. Please do not mount near CDI box as this
causes interference with the transponder signal.
The GNCC class structure is different from MSXC. You will need to get in
whatever class you and your machine fit in according to GNCC rules. We will
pull out and “put back together” all points riders in their
class based on adjusted start times. As long as you get in the right race
you will receive points. For example, if you are a B rider that runs the
morning C race you would not receive any points, but you will receive a
credit for an entry pertaining to end of season awards. The classes and
machine requirements are listed here: http://www.gnccracing.com/pages/rules/2011-gncc-classes
See link above to view the GNCC to MSXC class cross reference chart. This
time at the Loretta Lynn’s GNCC, all MSXC points members must register
at the MSXC points table at rider registration in order to receive points
for this event. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE POINTS UNLESS YOU REGISTER
WITH MSXC AT SIGNUP.
